Miloš Stevanović: What Drives Me Forward? Inspiration and God.

Many people ask me what drives me forward.

Sometimes the question comes from curiosity. Sometimes from amazement. Sometimes from a quiet doubt that a person cannot endure for long the pace of waking before dawn, arriving at the company while the city is still asleep, leading people, projects, clients, ideas, disputes, plans, and responsibilities that often extend beyond a single day, a single month, or even a single year.

My answer is simple, yet far from small: I am driven by inspiration and God.

Inspiration is not a moment. It is not merely a beautiful thought that appears when a person is rested, when everything is in order, and when there are no obstacles. Inspiration is an inner flame that says something must be created, that an idea deserves form, that a task deserves effort, that a goal deserves struggle. It is what lifts a person even when tired, even when others do not understand why he continues, even when it would be easier to stop.

And God, for me, is that almighty energy that gives meaning to everything we do. In Christianity, Islam, and all great religions, there is the same profound truth: a person is never alone when they believe, when they work honestly, when they carry intentions greater than mere personal interest, and when they surrender themselves to a higher purpose. God is not merely a word spoken in hardship. God is direction, silence, strength, and trust that every sincere step has its place within a greater order.

But faith without the first step remains only a thought. That is why the most important thing is to begin.

A person does not need to know the entire path immediately. They do not need to have every answer. They do not need to wait for the perfect time, perfect circumstances, or perfect people around them. It is enough to take the first step. That first step often appears small, yet it changes everything. From one decision comes work. From work comes discipline. From discipline comes results. From results comes new responsibility. And from responsibility comes creation.

For me, creation begins early. Very early.

I am awake around four in the morning. By five, I am already at the company. While others are just entering the day, I am already deep within its structure. In those hours, thought is the clearest, plans are the sharpest, and energy is the purest. There is no noise, no excuses, no distractions. There is only a person, his idea, his work, and what must be done.

Some would say it is because of money. It is not.

Money is a consequence, never the essence. The essence is creation. The essence is the feeling that you are leaving behind something of value. That one company becomes stronger. That one client gains security. That one project takes shape. That one building, one text, one decision, one legal standpoint, one business move becomes part of something greater.

The most beautiful feeling is not only achieving a goal. The most beautiful feeling is the moment when you know you have achieved it, then calmly look ahead and say: now we move on to the next one.

Because a person who creates never truly stops. Such a person does not live only from what has been completed. He lives from the journey, from movement, from the constant inner calling to do better, deeper, more precisely, and more courageously.

My special inspiration is also the little girl whose father I am — Katarina. She is my gentlest reason and my strongest reminder of why it is worth fighting. When a person has a child, they no longer think only about themselves. They think about the example they leave behind. About the world they are building. About the values that one day will speak louder than any words.

That is why I work. That is why I rise. That is why I do not give up.

Not because it is easy, but because I believe that every person has an obligation not to leave their gift unused. To turn what has been given to them into action. Not to keep ideas only in their thoughts, but to bring them into reality. To be grateful, but also responsible. To believe, but also to work. To surrender to God, but also to do every day what lies within their power.

In the end, perhaps that is the answer itself.

What drives me forward?

The inspiration that does not allow me to stop.

God, who gives me direction.

And love, which reminds me that everything we create matters only if it leaves behind meaning.
