StandardPlaza – a business building where even the elevator becomes part of the experience
16.09.2026StandardPlaza in Bijeljina is being developed around the idea that a modern business building is no longer simply a collection of offices. It should be a meeting place for capital, knowledge, technology and people – a space whose content, architecture and details encourage the creation of new business opportunities.
Through the StandardPlaza project, StandardPrva Group aims to create a different kind of business environment in the centre of Bijeljina: representative, technologically advanced and warm enough to make people want to spend time there.
That is why StandardPlaza is not viewed merely in terms of square metres, floors and offices. It is conceived around the complete experience of a person entering the building.
One building – a business ecosystem
The concept of StandardPlaza is based on bringing different activities together in one location.
The building is planned to accommodate companies from finance, law, technology and professional business services, alongside facilities designed for meetings, work, conversation and hospitality.
The idea is simple: a company operating from StandardPlaza does not need just an office.
It needs people. Advisors. Finance. Technology. Contacts. A place to meet clients. A space where a new idea can emerge.
When all of this exists within the same business community, the building ceases to be merely real estate and becomes infrastructure for business development.
Architecture designed to last
Particular attention in the development of StandardPlaza is being given to architecture and the selection of materials.
Stone, metal, glass, warm lighting and restrained interior lines are intended to create a space that will not depend on short-lived trends.
The goal is not to create an interior that attracts attention only in photographs. The goal is to create a building that will continue to look serious, contemporary and distinguished many years from now.
That is why every part of the experience is being designed – from the approach to the building and the entrance area, through the reception and shared spaces, to the offices, corridors and vertical circulation areas.
An elevator is not just an elevator
One of the details that best reflects the philosophy of StandardPlaza is precisely its elevators.
In most office buildings, an elevator is a technical element whose purpose is simply to transport people as quickly as possible from one floor to another.
At StandardPlaza, we want something different.
The elevator cabins are conceived as small interiors within the interior – featuring warm metal surfaces, carefully designed lighting and artistic wall panels inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics.
Mountain landscapes, water, pine trees and motifs from nature create a contrast with the contemporary technology of the elevator.
Those few dozen seconds between floors thus become a small visual pause during the business day.
It is precisely through details like these that the identity of a building is created.
Technology that does not impose itself
StandardPlaza is intended to be a technologically advanced building, but technology will not be an end in itself.
From building management, access and security systems, through telecommunications infrastructure, to solutions that will simplify the everyday work of companies – the goal is for technology to be present wherever it is needed and almost invisible where it is not.
Because the best technology in a business building is not the technology we constantly notice.
It is the technology that makes everything simply work.
A place where business can happen by chance
One of the key principles of the project is the creation of spaces for encounters.
Not every major business deal begins in a meeting room.
Some begin with a conversation in a corridor, a meeting in the lobby, a coffee between two appointments or an introduction between people who otherwise would have had no reason to meet.
That is why the shared spaces of StandardPlaza are almost as important as the offices themselves.
We want the building to enable something that an architect cannot fully design in advance – a chance encounter that leads to a good idea.
From Bijeljina towards a much larger market
StandardPlaza is being created in Bijeljina, but its ambition is not local.
The project aims to demonstrate that serious business infrastructure, contemporary architecture and a new concept of business connectivity do not have to be reserved exclusively for major European centres.
On the contrary.
Cities such as Bijeljina can create their own business centres, bring together capital and knowledge, and become places from which companies operate across the region and into Europe.
StandardPlaza is one step in that direction.
We do not want to create just another beautiful building.
We want to create a place where, ten or twenty years from now, people will be able to say:
“This is where a good business began.”
Where imagination becomes business.
