The Stevanović Law Office continues its well-recognized practice of transferring practical knowledge and experience to law students. Throughout the many years of work of this law office, a large number of law students have had the opportunity to become familiar with the practical challenges involved in applying the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies, both through internships and through motivational lectures delivered by attorney Miloš Stevanović, which have been highly noted and well attended.

As part of the continuation of successful professional cooperation, and upon the invitation of the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo, a lecture for fourth-year students was held on May 8, 2026, on the topic “Protection of Intellectual Property Rights in Practice.” The lecture, conceived more as an interactive workshop, was conducted by attorney Božana Simić on behalf of the Stevanović Law Office. She is the only registered patent representative in Bijeljina before the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Students had the opportunity to learn about concrete examples and methods of protecting industrial property rights through practical experience, as well as potential dangers and risks, available protection mechanisms and limitations, procedural deadlines and costs, and judicial decisions and case law of the competent courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The young students showed great interest in this type of practical knowledge transfer, and we believe that the Stevanović Law Office and the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo will continue the cooperation they have nurtured for many years, to the mutual satisfaction of both institutions and, above all, for the benefit of the students.
