9th International Scientific Conference titled:

“Harmonization of Legal Regulations with the Legal Acquis of the European Union – The Situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Experiences from Other Countries”

organized by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Banja Luka Research Center, will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Hotel Bosna – President Hall in Banja Luka. The event will gather leading legal experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and the European Union.

Participants will engage in discussions across three panels, addressing key topics related to the harmonization of domestic legislation with EU standards, including:

• Challenges in criminal law reforms,

• Judicial digitalization and electronic evidence,

• Protection of fundamental human rights, with special focus on women and victims of domestic violence,

• Alignment with EU regulations on anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing.
